Common questions
Will the lines stay sharp?
Yes. The tool only removes pixels that are close to white. Your ink or pencil lines stay fully opaque. Use Edge Shrink to remove any faint white halo around the edges.
Can I use a photo from my phone?
Yes. Drop a JPG, PNG or HEIC from your camera roll. Works on desktop and mobile. For best results, shoot on a clean white background with even lighting.
My pencil lines are very faint: will that work?
Use the Darken Lines slider. It strengthens thin pencil strokes by darkening pixels proportionally. Combine it with a lower Threshold setting for pale pencil work.
Does it work for color drawings?
Yes, in Remove White mode the tool removes near-white pixels and keeps all color. Your colored areas stay intact, only the white paper becomes transparent.
What file formats can I export?
You can export as a transparent PNG or WebP. Both keep the alpha channel (transparency) intact.
